The requirements for auditioning for the HSU Cheer Squad are as follows:
1. Standing back-handspring OR back tuck.
2. Running tumble pass - at least roundoff back-handspring series. Back tuck preferred.
3. Level or hyper-extended toe touch and two other elite jumps of choice.
4. For all-girl stunting: fly to liberty, full down preferred. Bases must show ability to be placed as a main, side, and back or front for liberty.
5. For co-ed stunting: fly to liberty. Men must be able to show ability to toss, catch and remain stable.
6. Each candidate should create their own original cheer. Cheers should demonstrate a jump sequence and standing tumbling (one skill).
7. NO DANCE is required.
